However, unlike the fried version which has 42%+ oil in every 100gm of the product that you eat, sate skinny Palak Bhujia Sev has an average of only 21grams of oil. The healthy ingredients combined with the significant reduction in oil makes for a very tasty yet healthy snack.

If one were to simply replace frying with baking, keeping the ingredients the same, the output is terrible to taste. So we got down to experimenting with ingredients and the entire manufacturing process, while keeping in mind that we wanted healthy ingredients and keep it minimally processed.

The process at a high level involves creating a dough made of besan, moth bean flour, water, and an assortment of spices. This blend is then piped onto a baking tray and baked to form delicate, crispy strands.
